Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the most common questions I receive about my approach, logistics, and what working together looks like. For any additional questions, please feel free to send me a message directly.

Almost exclusively virtually. Many of my clients live in my area though - North NJ/NYC Metro. If you happen to live near me, I have the best support teams one could hope for on lockdown out here - from biomechanical practitioners to inspectors to health-forward household contractors, etc…
If you don’t, don’t worry. I’m great at finding and vetting the best!

I see most clients (or families) for 5-8 months depending on how much support they need. For smaller kids, 1-3 sessions over 2-3 months are usually all we need (unless the parents prefer ongoing support).

No. I have approximately 6-10 in varying stages of their journey with me at one time. I’d rather be all in on a few people - I get to really be on your journey with you - which I love - and it leaves me time to fill my cup - learn, research, grow, educate, keep optimizing my own health, raise my toddler, and fully enjoy my friends and family.
I also teach small group classes, give presentations, and do one-off consulting, education, and peer-to-peer sessions. Education is my favorite part of the job.
Please contact me if you’re interested in one of these.

Certain types in certain circumstances. If you’re on them and they’re working for you without major side effects, you can of course stay on them.
I also help people graduate off their higher dose GLP-1 agonists if weight issues or metabolic issues are part of their health story.

I love working with kids! This work is life changing for everyone, but especially for them, and they tend to improve very quickly. Ensuring proper early microbiome terrain and immune training sets the foundation for optimal lifetime health outcomes.
If the child is under the age of puberty, I work almost exclusively with the parent(s). If the child is at or above the age of puberty, they are considered a full client and I work with both them and their parents together (or separately in some unique cases). I find that the child’s ownership and understanding of the material is absolutely critical to their success when they’re old enough to make their own diet, sleep, exercise, etc… decisions.

I work on collaborative functional teams for people with more severe issues. If you are one of these types of people, I’m happy to serve on your team making sure to cover all angles that are not covered by your functional physician if he or she is open to it.
Traditionally, this includes nutrition and nutritional supplementation and preparation for bigger functional “kill” protocols, lifestyle and household recommendations and support, external toxin reduction support, and sometimes gut, sinus, lung, vaginal and/or oral microbiome terrain recovery if the doctor so chooses.
I am happy to work with conventional as well, if they are open to it.

Not all people can realistically do, or tolerate, all things that would help them most on their journey (yet) - especially if they have Mold Illness, Lyme Disease, MCAS/Histamine Intolerance, EDS complications, other known sensitivities, or are on loads of prescription medicines. If this is you, it will take us a little longer and a few extra “tries” and possibly therapies to heal/help find what works for you, but we will.
Footnote: If this question resonates with you, you likely have a mold overexposure issue in your home and/or workplace. Nothing’s perfect, but I like the EMMA as a space screening tool. Not as comprehensive, but if you’re really strapped for funds, buy 1 EC3 mold plate for each room in your house and workspace - including attics, basements, large closets, crawlspaces.
Feel free to email me directly anytime if the results are confusing whether you are a client or not.

Realistically, no. In most of the issues we find, minimally, there are moderate to severe nutrient deficiencies and ongoing digestive impairment. It’s almost impossible to get the healing resources (nutrition, etc…) into you without replenishing the nutrition supplementally and helping bind toxins out of the body with non-food strategies - at least at first.
While we’re in it, it will feel like a lot, but by the end of the journey, most people are on 3-7 nutritional supplements for maintenance and optimal performance and to fill in gaps where their lifestyle choices don’t meet the body’s demand. Many of my clients go on to dabble in biohacking afterward out of interest!
